Vadrózsa Hungarian Folk Dancers

For those ages 18+, the Vadrózsa Hungarian Folk Dancers are happy to share their knowledge of various historic dialects of the Hungarian folkdance. Over the years, the group has received increasing attention and acclaim for their performances across Western Canada. Through many hours of dedication and practice, the group has proudly portrayed the Hungarian dance style, and is always looking for eager new members, who are excited and ready to embrace this fine cultural tradition.

Nádihegedű Hungarian Folklore Society

For both adults and children alike, the Nádihegedű Hungarian Folklore Society, offers a creative environment where community thrives, and traditions, such as folk dancing, flourishes. With the goal of fostering internal growth - through celebrating fun activities, games and folk traditions - you can be assured your children will feel enriched through the society’s youth programs. For children and youth (ages 3 – 18) dance classes are ongoing year-round, and adults can enjoy seasonal workshops.
